 I downloaded a copy of With the Old Breed to my kindle to read in anticipation of the HBO mini-series The Pacific. This book chronicles the accounts of author E.B. Sledge; a 60MM mortar man, who served in the Pacific theatre of WWII during the battles of Peleliu and Okinawa. |

 I never update my own site ... so I have given in to market and peer pressure and set up a Facebook account. Now folks can track me down easier ... well, I guess if searching through facebook is easier than typing my name in a browser.

 An update on the most storied franchises of the BHFL ... yes ... we are talking about the Slack-Jawed Yokels! My team is off to a good start this year, and after 3 games the record stands at 2-1 with the Yokels scoring the most aggregate points so far. There were some tough years recently, but recent shakeups in the front office (primarily waiting to start beer #6 until after the draft starts) and a different direction on player development are starting to pay fruit. Stay tuned as the Yokels vanquish all foes and ride on to a Championship this year! |
